6:24 am
is long, the climb is steep. are we close to the goals he set out? >> unfortunately, not. i have tried to find some precedence for what the president and his policies, with pelosi and reid are trying to put in place. in reading something from carle mark, how do you take a capitalistic nation into a socialist nation. the first thing have you to do is destroy the economic base. then make people dependent on government then you must create class warfare. you must ask yourself whether or not the kind of policies from healthcare to cap and trade to everything else that this president has put in place doesn't reflect the values of the american people. and it doesn't. and i think that was brought home earlier this week when the president and his party lost the bluest of states, which is was new jersey. then, mcdonald won by 19% over virginia. why would you destroy small businesses if you really want to help people with employment?
6:25 am
why would you put a healthcare plan in place where you realize that healthcare should be between the physician and patient. why would you force these small business owners to pay additional insurance where they have to make a decision where they are already struggling to layoff employees, why would you throw billions of wall street, aig and other firms and can you take that money and give it to small businesses like people in hair salons, barber shops, restaurants, where they are -- they are the businesses that really create jobs in this economy. you have to ask yourself, is he trying to destroy our economic base. >> i want to ask you, to play devil's advocate here. president obama says he wants to do this healthcare reform to touch every american and do that for the better of the people. your thoughts on that when he says he is looking out for everybody. >> listen, all have you to do is look at medicare, social security, even the post office. what has the government ever run efficiently over long-term? medicare is in bankrupt. social security is bankrupt.

listen, i believe the president is sincere and noble in what he is doing but i don't think he understands what we are as american what we want. people must do for themselves. you cannot take from the rich to feed the poor. the poor, the poor needs to learn how to fish for themselves. it is bizarre what president is doing. it is not working. he lost the independent voters. he lost minority voters. and i dent know where his base is any more. and it seems as though they have not gotten the message that the american people may like him individually and give him a high rating but they have total disdain for his policies. >> armstrong, thank you very much. he has 3 years and 2 months to complete prom promises. >> thank you. have a nice weekend. >> you too. >> coming up, could a rematch be brewing between governor martin o'malley and former governor bob you are lick. predictions after possible outcome. >> coming up, the latest on the
